Sure. But you can't actually browse the internet.
You have to hack through all the bannings, and the firewalls, and the blocks, just to get to somewhere like Livejournal. Myspace is a whole different thing, there are entire websites devoted to unblocking that site, the joy of schoolkids across the world.

I'm here at the library, typing up a good rant....
Maybe not a rant. A ramble.
Wasting time and trying not to whine about the pain in my feet or back. Trying not to think about the long, rediculously boring, stupidly hot amble home. I'm wearing my Doc Martins, so my feet aren't as bad as they usually would be, but the ache is pretty damn annoying. 
Besides, I need to refresh my reading collection. The books, massive novels I may add, I got out to spend the time while Dan was away lasted two weeks. TWO WEEKS!
Madness.
So I got out a heap of stuff I know it'll take me forever to read.

The Hobbit - J R R Tolkien.... We have this at home but I really don't feel like asking Kristine if I can borrow it. I always end up being told off by the time she's decided I can.

Kabuki; Skin Deep - David Mack..... I've read this before, but I enjoy it so much I'm reading it again. It's a graphic novel.... Takes me about 20 min to finish and re-read, but it's good.

The Dark Side Of Nowhere - Neal Shusterman..... Shusterman? What kind of a anme is that? This was just a random pick off the shelf.

Brokeback Mountain - Annie Proulx..... Because everyone's seen the movie but me, and I think I'll read the book first. It's a tiny little thing anyway, only about half an hours reading....


I have a feeling that The Hobbit will take up a good week or so and The Dark Side Of Nowhere will probably bore me to death.
It's the school holidays and most of my friends are out and about.... I'm tempted to go harass Katherine because she lives on the same street as me, but she's probably out doing stuff or working, too.
Of course, I'd probably be spending a lot of my free time with Dan were he actually in Australia.... But he's not, he's in Switzerland. Or germany. I don't know. Somewhere around there. Haven't heard from him in about 4 days, so he could be in the middle of the Indian Ocean drowning to death.
*thinks for a moment*
I hope not.
And Peta has gone off to Queensland for a month...... Grar. Gaby works all the time and everyone else is up in Kalamunda, and Kira's being weird at me. Oh well.
Looks like Katherine adn lauren it is, one mildly depressed and the other edible with a spoon.

I'm not going to chase Dan's ex. Don't worry. I'm not that stupid.

Work is a little more annoying now I know that all my pay is going on that damnable phone bill. There are things I want to buy, and naomi and kara want to catch up on Saturday..... Doubt I'll even be paid then.

But dan returns two days before Valetines day, which means I have Christmas presents and a Valentines gift to bguy.... I know exactly what I want to get him, for both........
Everyone else, I have no idea. No one tells me what they want. half of them sit there and say 'Don't get me anything'......
Alright, I wont, but don't do what you did last year and pout at me.
Or kill me until I'm dead.
There are some people who are definately getting gifts.

And I'm going to beg dad of his shed and his paints for a bit, because I can't afford my own acrylics and I suck.
And I need him to teach me how to make a stretcher. because thats what I wanna do. I want to paint.
It's a promise I made a long time ago.

*sigh*
